THE FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON!!

IT SNOWED ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  hello! wow, i've been busy! it's so nice to finally have a week where a paper's not due, or i have an exam to study for. wait... this week is not empty, rather full actually, but i haven't blogged in a while so here i am. 

well, what's happened since it was freezing cold?!?! umm... i guess i'll start with the weather. it warmed up a lot right after the cold, and it felt very nice to be warm, even sometimes too warm. the weather was about the same until yesterday afternoon when it rained and there was a huge rainbow across the sky. now i guess it's starting to get colder. i looked online for the weather and saw that it on wednesday the low is 19 so i guess it's time to wear warmer clothes again. oh, also we had our second playoff game for racquetball and lost, so we're really bummed, but we still play around for fun. THANKSGIVING is almost here!!! i can't wait! andy is going to drive up from tucson on the wed. before and spend the night in my dorm room, then on thanksgiving morning we will drive down to sedona to visit the morris family and spend the whole day and night there! it'll be nice to have a family time and catch up with our old family friends. the next day we'll come back to flagstaff and spend the night in my room again then andy will head back down to U of A sometime saturday. i'm so pumped to see him, hang out, show him my school, and play guitar. i haven't seen him since my high school graduation.

ok, so halloween was a BLAST. alissa, hillary, colton, his friend joey, stephanie, and i dressed up as a baby, a cat, a mormon, a chic-magnet, a mom with an apron and a cookie sheet, and a robot. it was so much fun! we went to our good friend phil's house for a dance party, and then us six went to "the place", this fun breakfast joint that is open late.

well, that's it for now. i've been missing my family so much. i can't wait to see them all for christmas!!! sorry i can't see you trav fugler. love you all!

FREEZER!!!

sorry about not having my song up! it's freaking out right now and won't let me upload it yet. i'll keep trying. K, enough about that. today was SOO cold! it's 6:41 right now and normally at home i would look at the thermostat and see a warm 74 degrees, but noooo not here! it's 39 degrees!!!! it says "high 52, low 22" for today. i need to start dressing warmer. it's not going to warm up. "good-bye warm weather! i'll see you later!"

p.s. i now completely disagree with global warming. :)

hello. tuesdays are probably my favorite day of the school-week. this is because i have 3 hours of class, and it's all science (my subject of choice). today was really good because i really only had one and a half hours of class. here's my day: i had my biology midterm from 9:35 to 10:20, then i had breakfast at the hot spot which was: one pancake, scrambled eggs, milk, and a biscuit with gravy. even though it was cafeteria food, it was just what i wanted. then i went back to my room, and relaxed for a few minutes, skateboarded to chemistry which was only thirty minutes because our professor said we were ahead of all the other classes and all we were doing today was doing a worksheet. so i sat there, finished it, checked it with the key, and left! oh, and also, my bio recitation class was cancelled because we took an exam, so i'm done for today!! this day is awesome! 

So, now i've been in my room for a while, cleaning and thinking and playing guitar, and i made up a song. it doesn't have any words and is short, but i just love putting chords together. so i recorded it for you to hear. hope you like!

oh... also i'm playing intramural football. we had a game today in the skydome!! it was so awesome. we lost 14-9, but later found out the referee's made some bogus calls and most of the real team wasn't there and they had some really good guys illegally substitute. so i guess we're pretty good. we'll see how the rest of the season goes though.

Intramural!!

So David (my roommate) and i started a doubles racquetball team for the im sports, and we had our first game yesterday. We ended up loosing in the last game but it was so much fun. We did very well. This is how the games go: it is best out of 3 games, the first two are to 15 and the last game is to 11 (win by two). We lost the first game 7-15 because the team we played had a really good server, and we weren't used to that. But in the second game we knew what to expect and one 15-13. The last game, we did very well and it was 10-7, us, and our serve. That's where it went downhill... we had a few missed shots and even a couple double faults and ended up giving up 5 straight points! We were extremely bummed but felt better after learning that the guys we played were juniors and had been playing together for the past three years, while David and i had only started 3 weeks ago. We have another game on thursday and hope to come out with the W! I'll let you know how it goes. See ya!
